FAIR Modules Overview

Scholarly Activity and Vita Entry (SAVE)
  • Entry and update of published and ongoing scholarly activities.
  • Faculty designed interface for managing vita content.
  • Vita display selections and options.
  • Generate the abbreviated vita needed for proposal submissions.
  • Internal and external users can search the database for expertise and potentially make contact with domain experts.

    Effort Reporting
  • Compliant with federal effort reporting requirements, as well as most collective bargaining and state effort reporting requirements
  • Used as the basis for compiling the term based information into the templates used by the Annual Report or Tenure and Promotion modules.
  • Linked to the scholarly activities (SAVE) module.

    Annual Report – Annual Review
  • Faculty designed interface for managing the annual report content.
  • Compilation of information from all of the above modules.
  • Generates a template annual report which can then be completed or exported as a Word document or PDF. Reduced workload for the staff, easier review by the department Chair or School Director.

    Faculty Activity Credentials for Teaching (FACT)
  • Combines class scheduling information with Human resource information to allow the evaluation of teaching credentials for regional accreditation (SACS) or discipline specific accreditation (AACSB)

    Faculty Academic Reporting Module (FARM)
  • Reports on scholarship and creative activity. (SAVE Module) These reports were Faculty and Staff designed.
  • Reports on the effort reporting data (AFD-FAR module). ) These reports were Faculty and Staff designed.
  • Reports on the evaluation of teaching credentials for regional accreditation (SACS) or discipline specific accreditation (AACSB)
  • Extensive Appointment Reporting
  • Extensive Survey Reporting
  • IPEDS (Staff, EAP, Salaries
  • AAUP and CUPA surveys on Salaries of Instructional Faculty
  • Peterson’s Graduate Faculty
  • The Student Assessment of Teaching Reporting
  • Extensive Financial Reporting including remaining spending authority, transaction detail, payroll summary etc.

    Tenure and Promotion System(TAPS)
  • Compilation of information from all of the above modules.
  • Generates a template tenure and/or promotion application (60%-80% populated) which can then be completed or exported.
